I need tree in right of way trimmed/removed. When can I expect this to be done? 
Trees are trimmed in the winter when they are dormant. We usually do this in February.

My sidewalk needs to be replaced, what is the procedure? 
We can put you on the listing with the DPW and they will get back with you.

Why is my water bill so high?
There are many things that factor into the cost of your water bill. How many people live at your residence, how often you do laundry. Did you change out your water heater recently? Do you have a swimming pool or a water softener?

Why is my water bill the same rate each month or Why does my water bill amount change all the time
You are billed for each 1,000 gallon used.

Why do we pay a bond debt? When is the bond debt done?
The bond debt pays for the infrastructure and repair of older pipes. It will most likely not go away.

My water bill should be $37.05 most months as I live alone and don’t shower every day. How can it be more than that for 2 months in a row?
It goes by your water usage and we bill for every 1,000 gallons used. Every few months, the meter will flip over to the next 1,000 gallons.

What is the time frame for submittals on banners? 
Banners must be turned in a minimum of 30 days before the event and payment is due at the time permit is issued.

What is the time frame for submittals on special events?
Applications must be submitted no less than 60 days prior to your event.

I need a mechanical/plumbing inspection. Can I schedule that with you?

I need an electrical inspection. Can I set that up with you?

There is a dead deer in my yard, can you please have it removed? 
If it is in their yard, they are responsible.  

There is a dead deer in the street in front of my house, can you please have it removed? 
If it is a Village Road, we will put you on the list for DPW.  If it is a major road, you will need to call the county.

My neighbor has abandoned cars in the driveway. Who do I call?

How many large items can I leave at one time?
One (1) large item per week will be collected and there is no need to contact Priority Waste.

I never got my water bill.  Why? 
Make sure your address on file is correct.  We mail out water bills monthly.  If you are still not receiving your water bill, contact the local post office.

Can I get an extension paying on my water bill, or are you still going to shut me off? 
The Village does accept payment plans, however, a downpayment will need to be made and the past due balance must be paid over a three (3) month period along with the current month’s bill.
