CLERK/TREASURER

The Village of Holly is currently seeking applicants for a professional Clerk/Treasurer. The applicant needs to have strong leadership capabilities along with organizational skills. Some payroll experience would be preferred. The Clerk/Treasurer is the office manager responsible for supervision of 3 staff members, who perform a variety of clerical and fiscal functions. Other duties of the Clerk/Treasurer include budget preparation, budget monitoring, audit preparation and submitting of all required reports to State and County agencies. The position is also responsible for review of all long-term debt and will need experience with the bonding process for new bonds and refunding of existing bonds, familiarity with pension and OPEB trusts and will be responsible for investing decisions for the Village. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible finance or audit experience. A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required, or equivalent experience.

ASSISTANT VILLAGE MANAGER/DDA DIRECTOR/COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

The Village of Holly is currently seeking applicants for a professional DDA Main Street Director/Assistant Village Manager who will also have communications responsibilities. Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with work in urban planning, public administration, business administration, communications or a related field. The successful candidate must have excellent verbal communication skills and be well-versed in written and electronic media platforms. This position reports to the DDA Board of Directors monthly, under the general supervision of the Village Manager.

Compensation: $50,000-$55,000 with a generous benefits package
